As we near the start of a new year, many of us have begun thinking about what we want to achieve over the next 12 months, and for some, picking a ‘word of the year’ is their first port of call.
When we can narrow down everything we want to accomplish into just one word, that can become our guiding light throughout the year; our North Star that promises to not only keep us on track with our goals, but can also play a role in decision-making over the coming months.
The only problem is, picking just one word to encapsulate everything we want to achieve can be overwhelming in itself. Is it even possible to narrow our dreams down to such a degree? More importantly, is it really necessary?
