As moms, partners, daughters, sisters, friends and business owners, we only have so much time and energy. Boundaries are how we protect all those valuable resources, and make sure we’re not spread too thin.

It’s not just about time and people. It’s also about the words we use and the cultural messages we let into our own lives.

In this special 600th and birthday episode, I share the boundaries I’ve set up in my life so that I can show up the way I want to.

Let your mind and body feel young. We age faster when we give up hope and wonder. -Dana Malstaff

How do we reframe being busy to having an amazing and full life?

When it comes to social media, a lot of the things we’re told to do to get followers, likes and shares don’t work anymore.

Motivational posts, teaching posts, value-add posts and promo posts - none of these are leading to growth, and it makes us hate social media. So what is working? What will get people to like and follow your content?

In this episode, I talk about what isn’t working on social media and what we should be posting instead.

When you can be true about what the world looks like for you, that’s where social media grows for you. -Dana Malstaff

Impulse spending is so normalized and integrated into our culture, we do it without thinking. It's really easy to be persuaded by discounts, flashy ads, and social media trends, but impulse buying can impact our relationships, mindset, and finances.

How do we live a contented life without being swayed by external factors? How can we be more mindful of what we have rather than spending unnecessarily?

Impulse shopping mentor Makeda Mutema Newton joins me for this episode to discuss impulse buying, and how to make sure that it doesn’t hinder our financial freedom.

There are so many reasons why we impulse shop but we don’t realize it until we sit down and think about it. -Makeda Mutema Newton
