Last week I talked about the 3 areas we need to think about as we visualize what we want in the future.
Those emotional, environmental, and financial goals form a baseline and a scaffolding for what we have to prioritize.
In order to commit to the activities that get us what we want, we have to get clear on the opportunities we should seize and what we need to let go of. If we try to leverage too many things, we risk diluting our effectiveness.
In this episode, I share the two things that will help you commit to and stick with what you want to accomplish.

The holidays are a time to celebrate family, love, connection, and giving. They are also the time we start thinking about what we want in the new year.
As we reflect on our lives, our businesses, and what we want to accomplish, how do we do so with hope and motivation? How can we overcome fear and uncertainty and plan for the future with excitement?
In this episode, I share how we can get motivated through a 3-step visualization process, and why it’s so valuable.

Most Boss Moms can relate to feeling like we’re doing too much, and that’s because while we’re giving our all to our businesses, we’re not paying enough attention to our own wellbeing. As a result, we’re running on empty tanks, and that’s completely unsustainable.
Prioritizing our businesses may reap amazing financial rewards, but success is about more than making money. If we’re feeling depleted constantly, we need to change how we approach rest and relaxation.
What can we do to fill our own cups and start each day feeling refreshed, rather than burnt out? How do we start working from a place of rest while still running a booming business?
In this episode, founder of Refreshed Moms, Deanna Mason shares how we can rest our way to success.

Guest Bio-
Deanna Mason founded Refreshed Moms in 2018, right after spending 3 years on a business “hiatus.” That’s because, after running a non-profit and magazine publishing company for 8 years, she had totally burned out. She had spent years running her business her way, striving for her definition of success and doing way too much. She knew that in order for things to be different this time around, she had to do things differently.
Deanna is a firm believer that running a business is not just about sales and income. If you allow yourself, you can learn all of the marketing skills needed to get your magic to the people God has called you to. But, you also have to make sure you're taking care of other vital priorities, such as your faith, self-care, emotional wellness, and being present for the people you love. Without this, no matter how much money you make, it won't be sustainable.
And there is no way she could do any of this well without her consistent connection with God.
Now, as she journeys with God in her work, she allows Him to guide her tasks, projects, and creativity, which helps her eliminate the noise, remove the mental clutter, and focus on the things that matter the most. In doing so, He has faithfully kept her profitable and growing, and she relies completely on Him as He helps her support her community in doing the same thing.

Most new moms have been at the receiving end of sleep ‘training’ advice at some point. While it’s easy to feel guilted into taking advice from others, when it comes to our babies’ wellbeing, we have to give ourselves permission to listen to our own intuition.
The only thing is, many of us don’t know what our options are. Aside from the more traditional sleep techniques, what are our alternatives?
What is the psychology behind how our babies sleep and how can we use it to find the best solution for their needs?
In this episode, founder of The Postnatal Afterglow Centre, Jessica Miller shares how to stop giving into judgment from other parents and find the best sleep solutions for our little ones.
As a parent, you should never feel forced or shamed into walking down a path that doesn’t work for you. -Jessica Miller

Jessica Miller is the founder of The Postnatal Afterglow Centre. Driven to start the venture after her own experience with exhaustion as a new mom, Jessica has learned first hand that much of the advice we’re given as parents is not only outdated, but undermines the relationships we have with our children. Today, she is a firm believer that every parent should have the opportunity to choose something that works for them, and uses her platform to provide specialized infant care and support for parents wanting to try connection-based cry, fuss, and sleep solutions.

As Boss Moms, our lives are complex and unpredictable, and the last thing we need is a business built on live launches. The endless cycle of opt-in content, launch PTSD, and complicated marketing strategies only creates chaos, and it doesn’t work for us or our families.
If we want our businesses to align with our lives, we have to run simple, evergreen marketing systems.
I’m passionate about running simple businesses and I’m excited because my guest, Haley Burkhead shares the same passion. She is a sales psychology specialist and the creator of the Recurring Profit system.
She has scaled her earnings to $1 million with one course, and now she’s helping other women launch simple, evergreen recurring profit businesses. Since we’ve shut down The Boss Mom Academy, I’m recommending Haley’s course because I love what she’s doing.
What are the key parts of Haley’s system for scaling to $1 million with a single course or membership site? How can we attach real numbers to our business dreams so they feel more attainable? Why does evergreen benefit both us and the people who buy our products?
In this episode, Haley Burkhead shares how she helps entrepreneurs build simple, profitable businesses, and the things we need to put in place to make it happen.
